Impossible Explanations

You shall receive by revelation what is impossible to receive by explanation.

Meditation Thought: “ Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

You shall receive by revelation what is impossible to receive by explanation. Only through faith exercised in trust can revelation be released. And only through belief in the promises of the Word can faith be exercised. Assuming the premise that the Word is the Truth, and acting upon that premise moves your mind and your spirit into a hidden realm – the realm of the Kingdom. You can, at will, move in and out of the Kingdom from the world. But through the conscious seeking of the constant infilling of the Holy Spirit, you can dwell in the Kingdom and commune with the world at the same time.

Think of your choosing of a place to live: you can be a citizen of the United States, but still reside in another country. Or you can choose, as a citizen, to live within your own country, with all its attendant privileges and protection and compatibility. As a believer, your home is the Kingdom, and you keep your residence within it by the opening up of yourself to the filling of the Holy Spirit.

You can still communicate and affect and be affected by the citizens of the other countries (the ‘world’) – but your first loyalty is the the Kingdom and your decisions must be based upon your residence within the Kingdom.

The beauty of God’s plan is that your loyalty to the Kingdom does not in any way harm the citizens residing in the world, and, in fact is beneficial to them. At the point where it becomes beneficial to the point that they wish to become citizens of the Kingdom in order to reside in its superior atmosphere, the great commission is being fulfilled.

Promises Kept

The method of fulfilling the requirements to move God’s word of promise to God’s works completed is: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Meditation Thought: “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” (Romans 4:20-22)

A promise is only a potential until it is believed enough to be acted upon. Your belief prompting you to action, despite obstacles arising against that action, is the means of the promise moving from potential to actual. The actions take to fulfill God’s promises have a power found nowhere else, for these actions are backed by a guarantee of success by the One who promised. His power is the one power that can adapt to any obstacle which might thwart fulfillment of the promise. But the power must be activated by faith when an obstacle is encountered. The promise is true but it comes into fulfillment only when the one promised cooperates in making it come true by fulfilling the requirements set down by the Promiser. If the promise is not fulfilled, it is not due to the promise being false, nor the Promiser being unable to keep His promise: it is due to the ‘promisee’ not fully following the requirements needed for the progression from spoken word to actual deed. The method of fulfilling the requirements to move God’s word of promise to God’s works completed is: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.”

The Connecting Link

Lack of full knowledge does not preclude the receipt of some knowledge.

Meditation Thought: “ …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.” (Romans 3:23-25)

“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus – the world cannot contain, nor explain, the connotation of the Name: only in the glories and wisdom of heaven can this be comprehended. But lack of full knowledge does not preclude the receipt of some knowledge. Seek the meaning, the power, the love in the name of Jesus and all this name represents: this name is the gold, the key, the satisfaction, the fulfillment, the goal for which all seek, whether it is recognized or not.

Praise, praise, praise – praise intensifies trust and trust intensifies faith and faith intensifies the conforming of your will to My will for you: our wills emmeshed, fitting together into one harmonious, beautiful, strong and loving expression of My Spirit living within you and working within you and manifesting Myself through you into the world. For this purpose did Jesus Christ appear as man, suffer as man, die as man – and then reappear and does appear as Spirit, to guide you to the safety and to the joy of salvation forevermore, peace in your time on earth and the realization of love and grace, in earth and in heaven.

As you take the Word into your mind, it transforms your mind to conform it to the mind of Christ, whose mind is conformed to the Father’s will and instruction. Christ is the connecting link between the Divine will and the free will; between the Original and the image; between the Eternal and the temporal. The connection between Myself as Father and Christ as Son is ever firm, the connection between Christ and each soul is ever possible. It depends upon only one factor: each soul must choose to plug into that source of power which is waiting, which is visible and available, made so by My love and My grace and My wisdom.

Will you connect yourself firmly and continuously to this power? If so, your shining light will reveal the method of connection, the possibility of connection, the desirability of connection to all who know you.

I would have you be a powerful light: choose to make effort to be that light, connected and My power flowing through you will change your life from one of a life-light turned to “off” and a life-light turned to “on”. You need the connection of the Way and the switch in you turned to “on” by the infilling of the Spirit to shine powerfully and fully as you were designed to do.”

Travel Plans

I am with you to help you around, over or through all obstacles.

Meditation Thought: “For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he has set forth in Christ as a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things to him, things in heaven and things on earth.” (Ephesians 1:9-10)

“When you start along a highway, you can only trust that it reaches the destination you desire – you cannot see that destination. The only way you can experience the reality of the highway leading to this destination is to travel it, despite distractions and detours.

Experience the reality of the highway of My people! Many have travelled it before you, and written of the Way. Their experiences will aid you, encourage you. Read every book, seek every source of information of how to travel the road of My believers which leads to Me. You can move swiftly, accurately, confidently if you use every means at your disposal to make the journey be all that I intended it to be: exciting, but releasing a confidence of peace in the trust of My help along the way for every roadblock Satan sets before you.

Take each step in trust, knowing that I am with you to help you around, over or through all obstacles which would keep you from the destination. But your free will is the key to being stuck or to moving on when you encounter an obstacle. Pause, think, pray every time anything slows your movement. Together we shall move to the completion of the journey – slowly or speedily, pleasantly or painfully, confidently or hesitantly, inspiringly or ploddingly, in good humor or grumbling, trustingly or doubtfully – the manner of the movement depends upon you. Jesus has travelled the way and made His travelogue available that the pitfalls may be avoided, that the road may be well-marked for you. But if you do not consult His book nor look at His signs, you stumble and detour – and wonder why the trip is difficult.

Read your instructions, heed your instructions, fill yourself with the power of the Spirt to move you – opening your mind, your heart, your will to heavenly fuel – but closing them to the blandishments, the deceits, the temptations of the fuel offered by Satan. You have the knowledge of which is good fuel and which is evil fuel if you are in My Word and My Will. You are in My Word and My Will if you are walking in the steps of My Son. He has prepared the way that you might come quickly, even easily, to our Kingdom. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you: if you adhere to His steps, if you seek His nourishment, you walk in the Kingdom extended along from spiritual to physical, reaching into a portion of the Kingdom while you are moving toward the fulness of the Kingdom.”

Strength in Construction

When it appears that destructive forces enter into your life, it is only an illusion.

Meditation Thought: “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

“When you must reach to build another up, it stretches your own muscles and builds you up at the same time. What may appear to be difficult for you, and a sacrifice for you, is actually the means of perfecting and purifying you and accomplishing My plan for you. With this knowledge held in your heart, you will be able to reach further, to work harder and give of yourself more than you even thought possible.

My will is always to build – not destroy – when it appears that destructive forces enter into your life, it is only an illusion – for all forces are at My command to build, to work good, to complete My plan. Your view of some of the forces is not the same as Mine and therefore you must trust that from My view they are building and not destroying. Their force to build is variable, however, according to your ability to cooperate with Me in the applying of the forces in the proper places at the proper time.

To work together to use the forces speedily and properly, you must become adept in My methods of work. These are not the methods used by the world. These are the methods revealed to you through My instructions, and only as you study these instruction and understand them and obey them can you become a competent builder. The more quickly you learn My methods, the more building you will accomplish. Do not dawdle and slowly read the instructions – grasp them quickly and firmly in your hand, and devour them with your eyes – then quickly get to work to use them to accomplish My will in your life and in other lives which you are helping to build. I want a whole city – a whole Kingdom – of beautiful edifices, not just an edifice to My glory here and there.

Picture yourself as creating a beautiful, sparkling area wherever you are working, whatever you are doing. That is exactly what I do, and precisely why when apparently destructive forces appear that they are needed: they are clearing out the decay which has accumulated so that the new beauty will be unmarred!”

Gourmet Cooking

It takes time and effort to learn to cook God’s gourmet meals – but the results are so outstanding that we can be only glad that we spent our time and effort in learning to cook in this manner.

Meditation Thought: “Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt, so that you will know how to answer each one [who questions you].” (Colossians 4:6 AMP)

A good cook is accomplished because they have had experience. Just pouring ingredients together in any mixture or any proportion does not make a tasty dish, and in fact, can make on that is actually harmful or wasteful.

We can become good cooks with the ingredients God provides for us (His Word, His Spirit, our minds, our bodies, our spirit) – only if we follow His recipes and advice as to how to use and mix these ingredients. Even then, the more time and effort we spend in “cooking”, the better we will become at producing tasty, nutritious and attractive dishes for ourselves and for others. We must learn that perfect proportion and method to produce the best result for the particular dish we are preparing – for no salt can make a dish too bland to be interesting, and too much salt can make it unpalatable.

It takes time and effort to learn to cook God’s gourmet meals – but the results are so outstanding that when we are enjoying the dish, and others are enjoying it, we can be only glad that we spent our time and effort in learning to cook in this manner.

God is thinking about… You!

What are some of those thoughts the Lord is thinking about me?

Meditation Thought: “How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!” (Psalm 139:17)

What are some of those thoughts the Lord is thinking about me constantly? Perhaps His promises give me a clue: (Insert your name into each ____)
“I love ___.
I will help ___.
I will teach ___.
I will make ___ joyful.
I will make ___ peaceful.
I will allow ___ freedom, but provide the opportunity for him/her to find the ways of love, peace and joy – therefore “making” him/her these ways if he/she is willing.
I will help ___ to find Truth, to see wide vistas instead of narrow canyons.
I will help ___ to feel needed, appreciated, accomplished, enthusiastic, grateful, willing, and loved.
I will give ___ hope and justify his/her faith in Me.”

Prayer of response:
Dear Lord,
Just as you think about me constantly, I want to think about You constantly – I ask Your guidance in helping me bridle my ego and my worldly desires that more and more this thinking makes itself apparent in my life.
Amen.

Finally: Real Health Food!

This food will keep you in good health, good spirits, and enthused about life.

Meditation Thought:  “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

“The Word of God needs to become more and more delicious: develop a hunger for the taste of it – a craving that is satisficed by no other food. For this food is the perfect nourishment for your total being: body, mind, and spirit. It will keep you in good health, good spirits, and enthused about life.”

Do as I Do

My people must be as lightening rods – raising themselves up to draw My Spirit unto themselves.

Meditation Thought: “Commit your work to the Lord, then it will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)

“Although you may chafe at the variety and number of your duties [you have not seen that because a wife and mother does fulfill so many roles that she is able to spread My Love, My Mercy and My Compassion to many more people than most persons are able to do], when you do your solitary tasks, absorb My teaching – when you do your public tasks, teach My Way by your example:
– Sacrifice as I sacrificed
– Love as I love
– Adapt as I adapt
– Be joyful as I am joyful
– Be understanding and kind as I am compassionate
– Communicate with your spirit – not just your mind.

My people must be as lightening rods – raising themselves up to draw My Spirit unto themselves.”

Infused with Enthusiasm

The key is in the knowing that the harvest will come.

Meditation Thought: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

We get weary when we are really not interested in what we are doing – we are doing it out of duty, of necessity or inertia. But when we excitedly choose to do a job – even if it is not especially pleasant in itself – because we can hardly wait for the results – then we get so enthused that we forget to become tired, or if we do eventually tire, we have the will power to continue because of our anticipation.

God wants us to catch such a clear picture of the elements of His Kingdom that we can hardly wait to appropriate them in our lives. Once we can picture that luscious harvest, we can hoe in the hot sun without being discouraged. In fact, when we do become weary, if we will share our feeling with God, He will give us clear, cool water to quench our thirst, and new strength to our muscles, and even hand us better tools for doing the job. The key is in the knowing that the harvest will come, and that we will be greatly blessed when it does. This enables us to ignore distractions, ignore tiredness, ignore set-backs – and to concentrate happily on the job at hand.
