Stepping Out Anew

We all allow cloudiness of heart at times – but we can step out anew in faith and hope.

Meditation Thought: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

Those who are not aware that their spirit could see through a pure heart to God simply do not understand the thought-process and actions for those who are able to see into a place (God’s Kingdom) from which they have blocked off their view.

We all allow cloudiness of heart at times – but we can recognize it and then take action to clear out the impurities by repenting and seeking forgiveness and stepping out anew in faith and hope.

Darkness Dispelled

I am within you and therefore with you.

Meditation Thought: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)

“Blessed are those who trust Me as they mourn for they shall be comforted by love so deep, miracles so large, blessings so abundant, that they shall rejoice in the mourning, praising My Name. For out of ashes rises My glory for all to see and praise. There is a rhythm, but whether you are in the trough or on the peak, I am within you and therefore with you, moving you – in troughs, yes, as well as peaks – but always the movement directs us toward our purpose: communion in deeper fellowship through eternity; a surer knowledge of true love and the expression of that love.

The dark of the mourning shall be dispelled by My grace and My love, and the light of My glory shall make your life a shining through the sacrifice of My Son, who brought into focus the misty mystery of My will for My people. Look into the clear Truth He has revealed to those who turn to where the Truth lies. Study It, ponder It, absorb It; Truth is the fusion of My Word and My Spirit and all power for good is released through the acknowledgement and acceptance into very fiber of your being – spirit, mind, body and emotions – of It.

Open the Package

Do not look for evidence of truth in the world, for you will be deceived by half-truths and camouflaged truths.

Meditation Thought: ““Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)

“The kingdom of heaven is ‘at hand’. This moment. Now! The kingdom is at hand now because ‘now’ is when you are made aware of the spiritual kingdom as a reality. Repent, and choose the kingdom now. If you push it aside, instead of entering in, you choose Satan – evil, rebellion to your Creator and My will – you choose the losing side.

Do not look for evidence of truth in the world, for you will be deceived by half-truths and camouflaged truths. You will think you hold treasure in your hands because it is so attractively wrapped – but the time will come when the wrappings will be removed, and the contents revealed.

The truths of the world are then revealed as snares, traps which you have chosen yourself as your gifts of life. You will be ensnared as you open your packages – caught in the despair of knowing you denied yourself the joys of fellowship with the One who created you in love and hope, and denied yourself the joy of eternal life with Him.

Look closely at the ‘packages’ of the moment – the choices. The Word describes the packages – both the wrappings and the true contents of the packages.

  • The wrapping appears:
  • Humbling
  • As a denial of pleasures others seek
  • As a restriction of your own will
  • As actions making you appear foolish

  • But the content is:
  • Joy in Service
  • The peace of righteousness
  • The exhilaration of God’s will
  • Transformed lives

And so, at each point of your life, you choose from the packages available to you. If you are ignorant of the fact that the wrappings are key-coded to the contents, you are likely to choose grief for yourself. But, if you heed the call of My Creative Spirit to your own spirit, then you can hear the instructions of how to ‘break the code’ and choose the fullness of life which is placed before you – the fullness which I long for you to choose, but which I will not force you to choose.”

Kingdom Tour

Allow Me to take you on a tour of My Kingdom, within and without, and all about.

Meditation Thought: “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20)

“Let me clasp you in My arms of gentle love, and take you where I will – for My love for you will bring you joy untold. Relax, and allow yourself to move with ease along the paths I take. My delight is to gently show you, teach you, enjoy you as you discover the Truth and allow that knowledge to change you into a more pure image of the Father – a closer image to Me: an image inspired by the Spirit as more fitting as His dwelling place.

Conceive the most beautiful, awe-inspiring pictures and thoughts of your mind, for through these can the Spirit work in every part of your being, using emotions and actions to do the Father’s will. You have asked – and I have come to abide with you as long as you desire Me – not as a guest, but as your beloved.”

“My beauty and My works know no bounds: Shown in the depths of the Grand Canyon, to the heights of Pikes’ Peak, across the ocean’s expanse – if these expressions of My works are visible in the world, cannot you trust that the far more beautiful and expansive Spiritual expressions of My works are as real?

Allow Me to take you on a tour of My Kingdom, within and without, and all about – only follow Me, follow Me: the price you pay shall bring you more value than you have ever received for any purchase. You pay by yielding your will to Mine, and you receive eternal joy and peace.”

Remodel Inside and Out

Become the architect and the builder of My Kingdom.

Meditation Thought: “Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:5)

“Power have I given to you – to use as you will. If you choose to give up the privilege of using it alone for the privilege of using it according to My directing of it through you, the tiny spark of your power will be ignited into the flame of My Spirit – burning away the slums of sins and replacing them with a city of gold – pure, refined by the fire of My Spirit.

Help Me – help Me by heeding My Word and My call – become the architect and the builder of My Kingdom in both the realm of the spirit and the realm of the flesh. The world is the expression of the exterior of the buildings in My Kingdom, the spirit is the interior designing.

The joy you will have in seeing the old slums replaced by glorious new buildings will be contagious and speed up the process of our slum-clearance.

Work, work – rejoice in our work, praising My Name, moving in My Spirit.

I shall make all things new – through the labors of My Body!”

Will you do your part?

Whenever you have an opportunity to express love, to right a wrong, to make the dirty clean, to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, comfort the sick and the dying, share the knowledge of My love and power and desire to be a good Father, there is your task. Delight in it!

Meditation Thought: “O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God! (Psalm 83:1)

Dear God, if you do not “speak” to me in some manner – communicate with me – then I cannot know You. If I do not know You, I cannot understand You; I cannot please You. Therefore, Lord, make Yourself known to me!

If You do not act, then how can Your children evolve into what they should become? We are too weak to do what needs to be done to make the world the place it should be – the place where all have abundance, and peace and joy.

The Father’s Response:
“I have spoken clearly. The words are vibrating – they will be clear when ears are tuned to the vibrations.

Fret not that you do not always hear clearly or accurately. Try your best, and you will hear enough to make you shout for joy, live in peace, live an abundant life, and be a blessing to many.

I do not stand over you with a whip, ready to flail out at you for each error; I stand by you, with My hand outstretched, ready to steady you and set you on the right course. Knowing this – take heart, and energetically go to your tasks; very seldom do you not know what task is to be done. Whenever you have an opportunity to express love, to right a wrong, to make the dirty clean, to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, comfort the sick and the dying, share the knowledge of My love and power and desire to be a good Father, there is your task. Delight in it! Whatever you are doing, when you do it with a willing heart, as expressing your love to Me, it is right for you in every way. For that task is enhancing your spirit, keeping your mind alert, exercising your body to promote good health, and is the lesson of the moment, the method by which I can lead you gently along the path to fuller understanding of all of life.

Cast off your petulant attitude of resenting, or at least not enjoying, your tasks. They should be your delight, and you should eagerly look for all that can be observed concerning them. In this way you will learn much about Me, about you, about the world and about the kingdom. The more you know, the happier you will be – and the more pleased I will be with My beloved child.

Go now, thinking with the mind of Christ, living with the emotion of the Father, and moving with the power of the Spirit. The Way shall be prepared for you. Your help shall be available to you. Only choose to follow Jesus, who did the will of the Father, and thus transformed much of the world. My other children are needed to complete he transformation. Will you do your part?

The Key to Peace, Joy and Love

In this type of love, “enemies” are converted to friends, strife is dissolved into harmony, war is stopped and peace reigns.

Meditation Thought: “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them… Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you – live in harmony with one another.” (Romans 12:6,12,14,16)

There is an attitude which is the proper one for all who seek to be the loving, obedient, willing children of God; it is a reflection of our Father’s attitude: TOTAL LOVE. Love which allows the beloved to choose, love which does not condemn, but teaches a better way – mostly by example. Love which recognizes the desirability and the reality of each member being unique – and not only accepting the uniqueness, but enhancing the qualities of it which will bring glory to the Father.

In this type of love, “enemies” are converted to friends, strife is dissolved into harmony, war is stopped and peace reigns. The kingdom is superimposed upon the earth: the tawdry places are made shining clean, selfish motives give way to commitment to the common good, the wealthy eagerly aid the poor – and the poor accept the aid as a “talent” – to be used to increase the wealth for all, not accepting it as a gift for self only; as Paul states it, all of these behavioral patterns shall result in: “loving one another with brotherly affection.”

Is this not the purpose for which Jesus came? Is it not the purpose for which life takes on meaning for us, and richness, and joy?

It is in the knowing that this is the key to our heart’s desire that we are able to use our gifts gladly: giving joyfully and generously. For in loving one another in brotherly affection, we fulfill God’s will for us – we cannot love our fellow creatures without loving Him who created all. To love and to be loved is the central theme of Christianity. It is also the will of the Father, the joy of the Father and the sons, and the one way which leads to peace and fulfillment.

I wanted peace,
I wanted joy,
I wanted love.
I said “Give”,
Give me peace,
Give me joy,
Give me love.”

The answer came:
“When you change
‘You give me peace,
You give me joy,
You give me love,’

To

‘I give you peace,
I give you joy,
I give you love,’

You shall possess
please and joy, and love.”

Patterns Changed

To be treated kindly when one has not been kind is to prick the conscience, rethink the situation, and change the pattern of behavior.

Meditation Thought: “If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,” (Proverbs 25:21)

To be treated kindly when one has not been kind is to prick the conscience, rethink the situation, and change the pattern of behavior. Thus it is wiser and more productive to be kind to enemies – and since this behavior is also pleasing to God, it reaps additional reward from heaven. Thus to not give in to ill feelings is to receive far more satisfaction than venting anger. But the character must be built to have strength to do this – the mind must rule the emotions, and the Spirit of God must rule the mind if this type of behavior is to be exhibited, for it is human nature to cause harm to our enemies and to attempt to defeat them. Jesus was a master at living out the examples of feeding and giving drinks to enemies – and His consistency in doing so won over many – even some of those who had caused his death were won over after his resurrection, as the became converted through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We may not be as successful as Jesus in consistently feeding and giving drinks to our enemies – but if we really try to do this, we will have some success – and that is enough to change at least some peoples and some situations for the better. If we can each have even moderate success in this God-character being revealed instead of human-character, the world will be far more pleasing – to God and to us.

Rich in God

This will bring Him more pleasure than anything else: my grateful heart, and responding love, are all that He is seeking.

Meditation Thought; “And I will say to my soul, ‘Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:19-21)

You are to be rich in God. The Bible refers constantly to King and Kingdom. God is wealthy, is in authority, is all that an earthly king is, and infinitely more, has all the earthly king has, and infinitely more. I am His child, and thus am an heiress to the kingdom. It is fine for me to recognize this and to rejoice in this. What I must not do is to believe that I am worthy to be in this position because of my own doing. I am in this position because of God’s doing. I need to be grateful – and to live out this life that has been given to me in the way most responsible and pleasing to my Father – and to be glad to do so, to enjoy doing so. This will bring Him more pleasure than anything else: my grateful heart, and responding love, are all that He is seeking. He isn’t trying to beat and badger and coerce me into being a child that resembles Himself – He’s trying to love and encourage and empower me into that child! When I realize this fact, then I am released from the prison of my own making. If God – who is so great – is satisfied with me as I am in Christ – even though I’m not perfect as the Father is perfect – why should I be so critical of myself?

Yes, Christ in the flesh did understand the Father completely and did obey perfectly. And I have not. But that does not mean that I cannot – for my will yielded to Christ who lives in me through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit does understand the will of the Father, and my personality yielded to Christ in the form of the Holy Spirit does obey perfectly.

The key to having my heart be with the treasure of the kingdom is unwavering faith that prompts me to search in every possible way for the knowledge that the Father seeks to give me.

Hope!

If my heart attitude is right, my Father makes sure that I am rescued.

Meditation Thought: “But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.  Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:25-27)

The Spirit intercedes for me since I try as I might, at times misunderstand the will of God. What comfort that gives me! If my heart attitude is right, my Father makes sure that I am rescued, corrected, and thus I can wait in patience for that which is my hope. I may not take the most direct route to fulfill my hope – but God’s Spirit will lead me to it despite my incompetence.
