Those of you who read this blog regularly know that the posts are not my own writing. (https://meditationsofmymomsheart.com/about/). This one is.

Today is Easter. Easter can mean different things to different people. It’s a time for family, for fun, for chocolate, for eggs, for bunnies. But do you know why we celebrate it? Perhaps you are familiar with John 3:16 “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

But do you know the following verse? “ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Now try replacing the words “the world” in those two verses with your name. Still true! Jesus came to save you because He loves you. It’s that simple. And that glorious. And that mysterious. And that awesome. And that true. Yes, you. He loves YOU that much! If you’d like to know more, try talking to God. That’s what prayer is – a conversation with your personal creator.
