Move Which Mountain?

You cannot pray for the Father’s will if you do not know it – and you cannot know it if you do not seek it. You cannot seek it if you limit yourself to seeking your will only.

Meditation Thought:” whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:24,22)

God is: what? whom? How can you know? Because Jesus was able to prove God by the effects He made by His life – and for which He gave God the credit. No man has ever had such an effect on the world. How could He be totally outstanding from all others? He claims: “It is the Father who does the works.” “Believe in God.” “Believe in Me.” (Believe that what I say is true.) “He who believes in Me shall do the works that I do and greater works than these shall he do.” (See John 14)

You must focus on your destination before you can find the path there.

Will you indulge yourself – or glorify the Father?

Will you do your own thing – or the Father’s works and glorify Him?

If you know your Father, you believe Him, trust Him, obey Him, seek His counsel – you cannot move mountains. But your faith in your Father’s ability to do so can move mountains. You do not doubt in your heart because your heart is already consecrated to the Father, and you are doing His works: moving mountains.

You receive what you ask in prayer because you are praying for the Father’s will. You cannot pray for the Father’s will if you do not know it – and you cannot know it if you do not seek it. You cannot seek it if you limit yourself to seeking your will only.

When you know which mountain the Father desires to be moved, then your faith is the lever that starts the movement.

Humanly Possible vs. Divinely Possible

If we assume we already know what we need to – if our pride and our own will keep us turned to our own self instead of God, we limit what is possible in our lives to what is humanly possible.

Meditation Thought: “…all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27)

The only source of all knowledge is God. Only through coming to God with a willing attitude to learn from Him can we have all that we need to know revealed to us. If we assume we already know what we need to – if our pride and our own will keep us turned to our own self instead of God, we limit what is possible in our lives to what is humanly possible.

But, if in our faith in our Father – rather than ourselves, we seek to learn from Him, we release what is divinely possible in our lives. This difference places our lives on a new plane, a new dimension, living according to “new rules”.

If we do not adapt to behaving in ways appropriate to the new knowledge, we do not realize nor release the power of that knowledge. If we continue to think in old habitual ways, act as if we are only human, and the only controlling force in our lives, then we are not heeding the Word, learning the lesson, giving God permission to reveal, to guide, to influence the course of our lives. We remain chained to the limitations of the world, rather than availing ourselves of the miracles of the Kingdom.

A Climate of Faith

What is the element of life that is most exciting? Anticipation. It is satisfying to enjoy this moment – but it is exciting to create in the future the reality from the thought that is created this day.

Meditation Thought: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

“You have been given a ‘measure of faith’. Do you know its purpose? It is for using to grow more faith. It is for planting, for nourishing, for expecting a bountiful harvest of faith forthcoming.

Faith does not grow when it is ignored. Faith grows by someone tending it, recognizing that it exists and seeking to make it grow.

What is the element of life that is most exciting? Anticipation. It is satisfying to enjoy this moment – but it is exciting to create in the future the reality from the thought that is created this day.

You are able to exist in two planes at the same time, enjoying both and creating in both because you are both spirit and body. Your most effective powerful creations are the result of integrating the two areas into a two-dimensional expression on your part (height and width) and the addition of depth by the infusion of My Truth.

If you will work to define the pattern on the surface, I shall add the substance behind it to create a work beautiful from every viewpoint. Use the principles of good form taught to you in the Word, demonstrated by Jesus, whispered to you by the Spirit as well as confirmed by circumstances.

Think in terms of your work appearing as a figure in a painting, but with my divine power recreating it in sculpture which is a more complete expression that can be appreciated from any angle. Your work remains an expression of yourself, as only you can create, but it is made more beautiful by My expression added to it.

Your faith is the knowledge that the tiny seed of creative thought in your mind will grow even more beautiful and effective as you work to bring it into fruition. If you want to live the life of a creative artist, you must be saturated in faith. Nurture it, grow it, so you can thrive in the climate of faith.

Expand your faith that the work that you seek to product is unique – and useful and desirable – and that together we shall make it become complete and ‘real’; visible to many, and helpful to all who observe it.”

Wells in the Desert

You will hardly be able to contain your energy…

Meditation Thought: “God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8)

“Yes, I will provide water in the wilderness and streams in the desert to give drink to My chosen people. Heed My directions in leading you to the deep artesian wells I want you to uncover and release in a gushing of the Living Water to renew the parched earth of the resting places of My seeds – My people scattered, waiting – waiting to have their embryonic state burst open into full growth – into the inheritance I gave them which will come to be expressed in their own unique expression of Christ on earth in this time frame to bring glory to Me and the fruit of My seed.

You possess My “Divining Rod” to discover the hidden wells needed to release growth: I will teach you to use it if you will seek My wisdom and knowledge, in faith and trust – and act upon My instructions. Do not leave one well uncovered by being distracted, inattentive, allowing feelings to wrongly overwhelm you. Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.

Take my Divine Rod in your hands, and let Me energize it at the places you are to dig: if you set your will on obeying, you will have the excitement and the joy of “bringing in a real gusher” time after time after time. You will make the desert bloom to your delight: the blossoms will delight your eyes, the fragrance will overpower you with glorious feelings of ‘heavenly aroma’, you will hardly be able to contain your energy as you realize that you are bringing beautiful life into that which appeared desolate as you allow Me to guide you from glory to glory.

This Moment & This One

For this reason you must reach out, you must seek, you must venture forth – not indiscriminately, but with proper preparation.

Meditation Thought: “For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” (Matthew 25:29) & “ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (Matthew 25:13)

“This moment – be aware. This moment – be alert. This moment – do My will. This moment – rejoice in life. This moment – serve in joy. This moment – give Me glory. This moment – be free.

Nothing binds you – save love. The binding of love is not constriction, but the warm protection that keeps all cold harsh elements away from you. All that penetrates through this protection is for bringing joy to you, comfort to you, peace to you. Believe this, know this, and you will experience the reality of this.

It is the knowledge that My love protects you – and your love disarms all harm – that enables you to use your talents anywhere at any time freely, generously, uninhibitedly. As they move rapidly about, over a wide area, they attract as magnets other talents to work with them – all to My glory and all to your joy.

For this reason you must reach out, you must seek, you must venture forth – not indiscriminately, but with proper preparation in prayer, in knowledge of the Word, in the heeding of the soft voice of the Spirit.”

A Pattern Uniquely for YOU

Let your Father show you how to weave a glorious pattern to give delight, to enhance the place he prepares for you in His Kingdom in heaven.

Meditation Thought: “Now I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because your grief led to repentance” (2 Corinthians 7:9)

  • Death : Resurrection
  • Despair : Hope
  • Dormant : Live
  • Passive : Active
  • Proud : Humble
  • In-Self : In-God
  • In Weakness : In Power
  • Ineffective : Dynamic
  • Hate : Love
  • Sinful : Righteous

We choose with each breath we take. The pattern you follow will repeat: if you take care in making the pattern even and straight and whole, it will repeat itself with these desirable characteristics – but if you make it uneven by relying on your emotions, crooked by relying on your will, incomplete by the gnawing at it by sin – then the whole ‘run’ of your life will be suitable not for the grand living room in your Father’s house, but to be hidden away in a far, dark corner room.

Let your Father show you how to weave a glorious pattern to give delight, to enhance the place he prepares for you in His Kingdom in heaven. You must remember that you can see only the limited dwelling places of the world and patterns you would make for those alone would look out of place in the mansion in heaven. You need to trust your father as to the design that will be needed for eternity even though it may look out of place in the earthly realm.

Jump-Start

If we go about allowing God to guide us in releasing His power to charge each other, we become a community of highly-charged vehicles of God moving on earth, bringing His blessings from heaven.

Meditation Thought: “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.” (Isaiah 40:29)

When sin and sorrow have brought about a spirit which has lost power – a “dead battery” spirit – the love of the Father, the sacrifice of the Son, the power of the Holy Spirit are the “jumper cables” to bring new life – but they must be attached to the dead battery spirit: who will bring the power? Someone who believes the jumper cables will revive the battery. it could be anyone – a most unlikely one. We must constantly look to the spirits of those we meet to determine if they need “re-charging” to be powerful once again. If we go about allowing God to guide us in releasing His power to charge each other, we become a community of highly-charged vehicles of God moving on earth, bringing His blessings from heaven.

Self Help Turned on its Head

You are God’s paternal dream fulfilled!

Meditation Thought: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

In Christ you are a new creation:

  • Righteous, for your sin is forgiven and forgotten
  • Bold, for fear is replaced with confidence in your Helper who is with you forever
  • Content, for your longing for peace and fulfillment is satisfied
  • Excited, for you know that in Christ the works of the Father are constantly being done, and done with enthusiasm, good results, and often in surprising way.

You are experiencing love and giving love, you are more alert, your talents released, your joy boundless, your eyes perceiving beauty everywhere, your mind connecting all that comes into it into a pattern never before even suspected: that which is unseen becomes as that which is seen, and that which is seen becomes as that which is x-rayed and magnified and intensified. Christ is as all of the most potent effective medicines and vitamins and beauty aids and creative thinking courses and pleasures washing over you, pouring into you, transforming the dead entity of your self now willed to Him into the Fathers image: His precious offspring, spirit of His spirit – His paternal dream fulfilled.

Eradicate Pollution

Christ is the hand of the Father touching you – protecting, guiding, lovingly caressing you, reassuring you, bringing the peace of rightness with your Father into your life.

Meditation Thought: “But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

The flowers shall bloom and their perfume fill the air: and the sense of smell shall affect the other senses through the emotion evoked. The beauty of heaven shall be revealed in this tiny, subtle way. The fragrance of the knowledge of God as revealed in Christ as head and believers as body shall envelop and evoke response.

But you must take the necessary actions to keep Christ active within you that the fragrance may be released through you: Strengthen your will by obeying in trust – turn to the weapons available to fight off wrong desires, inertia, selfish pursuits – turn to the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit (see Ephesians 6:13-18).

Remember to prepare to meet the challenge of those who would stifle the fragrance, would pollute it, would mask it so that they could deceive and divide and alienate God’s people from Himself. Make way – make way for the Lord – this is your duty and your joy, your task and your peace; nothing, nothing, shall separate you from the love of God as Christ is the hand of the Father touching you – protecting, guiding, lovingly caressing you, reassuring you, bringing the peace of rightness with your Father into your life.

Farming Even For Non-farmers

Believe that I do not ask you to work in vain, but to work to produce a bountiful harvest, for you, for your family, for your fellow creatures.

Meditation Thought: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

A guaranteed harvest! What farmer would not eagerly plant, till, gather – despite difficulties and setbacks – knowing that all of his or her effort positively would be rewarded if they do not give in and give up to the difficulties? This is what our Father would have us realize; He sent His Son to us with His Message:
“Your harvest is guaranteed: your faith is not misplaced – believe that I do not ask you to work in vain, but to work to produce a bountiful harvest, for you, for your family, for your fellow creatures. My guarantee is your motive and incentive to persevere when the storms and preying insects and droughts come into your life. Turn to Me for your method of coping with the crisis; I will lead you through it, bringing new knowledge and wisdom in overcoming that will increase the harvest beyond even your fondest dreams. I give you the seed, I nourish it – do your part to make it thrive despite all that would destroy it. Study My ways which I wish you to know – but which I will not force upon you – you will learn a superior method of farming, to your joy, and to the amazement of the world. Let Me teach you to set up a ‘model farm’ that the world may be brought from wilderness and chaos and little harvesting into productive lands, feeding My people who will praise My name.”
