Select with Care

The peace of the Holy Spirit shall put a spring in your step and a song in your heart: is this not what all people seek?

Meditation Thought: “Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.” (Romans 6:17-18)

“As a slave in the house belonging to Sin, you stumbled in gloom and disorder, were confused by conflicting orders, were apprehensive of consequences of your actions.

In your new house of Righteousness, there is light by which to see, order which eases the flow of movement, the orders given to you are clear, interrelated so as to accomplish a common goal, and thus you can be at ease, confident, satisfied and have the joy of working within such a household.

Do not be lured by Sin’s calls to you, lying about the true nature of his household – trying to deceive you into believing that something there has been changed, that it would not be so bad to return there, that there are some new enticements and incentives worth pursuing.

Be diligent in your performance of duties in the house of Righteousness. More is required of you – and also more will be rewarded to you: seek to serve righteousness and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding shall be yours. The peace of the Holy Spirit shall put a spring in your step and a song in your heart: is this not what all people seek?”
