Transformation

Meditation Thought: “Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for any honest work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all men. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by men and hating one anther. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us.” Titus 3:1-5

Remember when… sometimes it is good to remember bad times so that these days are even more precious as they are compared to former times. So it is with your spiritual life. Rejoice that, though you are not what you long to be in Christ, neither are you what you were before you knew Him as your intimate friend.

Comparing the differences in your life will enable you to help others come to know Him, and to know the difference He will make in their lives if He is invited.

Cherish Christ in you heart, and seek to please Him in every way, for this is the means of obeying the Father’s will. Seek to know the man Jesus better through every means available, for this Image of who the Father is and who you are as the Father’s child, is the key to your maturing healthily and rightly after your new birth as a believer.
