Deepest Longings

Every moment is one in which love is offered.

Meditation Thought: “Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me,
    for I am poor and needy.
Preserve my life, for I am godly;
    save your servant, who trusts in you—you are my God.
Be gracious to me, O Lord,
    for to you do I cry all the day.
Gladden the soul of your servant,
    for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
    abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.” (Psalm 86:1-5)

“I am good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon Me.

In the process of life every turn of events can be focused toward the living out of this Truth: Those who desire Me to be the Light and Will of their life shall receive good, forgiveness and steadfast love.

I shall not force Myself upon My children, any more than parents force their love upon their children. In any event this is an impossible task. By its very nature, love cannot be forced upon anyone – it can only be offered and accepted or rejected.

Every moment is one in which love is offered – though circumstances may make the perception of it difficult, if you trust that love is still in the circumstances, and make a decision to seek that love and perceive it and accept it, then shall it become visible.

When love becomes visible, and its expression is eagerly embraced – this is the catalyst which changes the circumstances themselves.

Life is ebb and flow, but always the goal is to increase love everywhere – to work good from all circumstances.

Enjoy the times which are pleasing to your deepest longings – and use the times which are unpleasant; do not allow either condition to slip by passively, but enter into the situation with zeal, trusting that your movements are your ‘calling to Me’, and My movements are an expression of My ‘steadfast love’. So is the prayer fulfilled ‘Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done one earth as it is in heaven.'”
